District Court of Appeal of Florida, Third District
Jun 14, 2000
762 So. 2d 548 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2000)

Opinion

No. 3D99-1542.

Opinion filed June 14, 2000. JANUARY TERM, A.D. 2000

An Appeal from the Public Employees Relations Commission, L.T. Nos. 98-541, 98-942.

J. Yvette Pressley, Assistant General Counsel (Tallahassee), for appellant.

H.R. Bishop, Jr. (Tallahassee), for appellees.

Before SCHWARTZ, C.J., and JORGENSON and GREEN, JJ.

The Department of Corrections appeals from a decision of the Public Employees Relations Commission, upholding findings and recommendations of a hearing officer that the appellees were improperly discharged from employment as correction officers and ordering their reinstatement. Because the factual findings are based upon ample, competent and substantial evidence in the record, the order is affirmed.
