ORDER

Elizabeth A. Copeland, Judge.

This case is calendared for trial at the Kansas City, Missouri Trial Session of the Court scheduled to commence on October 2, 2023.

On August 14, 2023, Petitioners filed with the Court a Motion to Compel Discovery. Petitioners request that the Court order Respondent to comply with the discovery requests as listed in the motion.

On August 14, 2023, Petitioners filed with the Court a Motion to Shift the Burden of Proof. Petitioners request that the Court grant their motion and shift the burden of proof to Respondent pursuant to I.R.C. § 7491.

On August 24, 2023, the parties filed with the Court a Joint Motion for Continuance of Trial.

For cause, it is

ORDERED that, on or before October 3, 2023, Respondent shall file with the Court a response to Petitioner's Motion to Compel Discovery, filed with the Court on August 14, 2023. It is further

ORDERED that, on or before October 3, 2023, Respondent shall file with the Court a response to Petitioner's Motion to Shift the Burden of Proof, filed with the Court on August 14, 2023. It is further

ORDERED that the parties' Joint Motion for Continuance of Trial, filed with the Court on August 24, 2023, is granted. It is further

ORDERED that this case be continued and stricken from the Kansas City, Missouri Trial Session of the Court scheduled to commence on October 2, 2023. It is further

ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by this Division of the Court.
