JORDAN DAVIS, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 204th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause Nos. F14-15543-Q , F14-15544-Q & F15-45428-Q

ORDER

We abated these appeals for a hearing on why appellant's brief had not been filed. We received and adopted the trial court's June 1 findings and recommendations and ordered appellant's brief due by June 15. We now have before us appellant's June 12, 2017 motion to abate the appeal on the grounds that both the clerk's record and the reporter's record need to be supplemented.

We GRANT the motion to the extent we ORDER:

(1) the Dallas County District Clerk to file a supplemental clerk's record containing the items requested in appellant's June 9, 2017 "Supplemental Written Designation Specifying Matters for Inclusion in Clerk's Record" within TWENTY DAYS of the date of this order, and
(2) court reporter Kendra Thibodeaux to file a supplemental reporter's record containing the items requested in appellant's June 8, 2017 "Supplemental Request for Preparation of Reporter's Record and Designation of Matters to be Included" within THIRTY DAYS of the date of this order.

Appellant's brief shall be DUE thirty days after both the supplemental clerk's record and the supplemental reporter's record have been filed.
