Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se with a civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On March 12, 2007, the court ordered plaintiff to submit a completed affidavit in support of his request to proceed in forma pauperis, using the form provided by the court, and a certified copy of his prison trust account statement. On April 11, 2007, plaintiff filed a letter which the court construes as a request for an extension of time to comply with that order.

Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:

2. Plaintiff is granted thirty days from the date of this order in which to file his completed affidavit in support of his request to proceed in forma pauperis and a certified copy of his inmate trust account statement for the six month period immediately preceding the filing of his complaint. Plaintiff's failure to comply with this order will result in a recommendation that this action be dismissed without prejudice.
