GABRIEL TYLER DAVIS, Petitioner, v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Tamara W. Ashford, Judge

This case is currently calendared for trial at the Session of the Court commencing on January 29, 2024, in Tampa, Florida. On December 29, 2023, petitioner filed a Motion to Proceed Remotely, requesting a remote trial because he lives in Titusville, Florida, which is 143 miles from the Tampa courthouse. In his motion, although petitioner indicates that respondent has no objection to the case proceeding remotely, he also indicates that the motion has not been discussed with respondent. Upon due consideration, it is hereby

ORDERED that, on or before January 12, 2024, respondent shall file with the Court and serve on petitioner a response to petitioner's Motion to Proceed Remotely, including indicating his views on continuing this case to the undersigned judge's remote Trial Session commencing on February 26, 2024.
