MEMORANDUM OPINION

Appellants' October 27, 2003 amended brief states that the case was originally filed in small claims court. Also, the clerk's record filed in this appeal indicates that this appeal originated as a small claims case. This Court is without jurisdiction to review a county court at law's judgment in the appeal of a small claims case. See Howell Aviation Services v. Aerial Ads, Inc. 29 S.W.3d 321, 322 (Tex. App.-Dallas 2000, no writ). By letter dated January 8, 2004, appellants were instructed to file a jurisdictional letter brief, within ten (10) days, explaining the basis for the Court's jurisdiction this appeal. Appellants were informed that failure to respond would result in the dismissal of this appeal for want of jurisdiction, without further notice from the Court.

Appellants have failed to respond. Accordingly, on the Court's own motion, this appeal is DISMISSED for want of jurisdiction. See Tex.R.App.P. 42.3(a).
