Jan 1, 1802
3 N.C. 182 (N.C. Super. 1802)

Opinion

(Spring Riding, 1802.)

An action for abduction of a slave will lie against the personal representatives of deceased.

An action upon the case for seducing away the plaintiff's slave from his service will lie against executors for the same reason that trover and conversion will lie.

Vide C. Digest, Administrator b., 15. Off. Exrs., 127, 128; Cowp., 375; Toller on Administration, 360, 361.

Judgment for plaintiff.
