387 So. 3d 1274 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2024)

Opinion

No. 1D2024-0046

06-12-2024

Jody CRUM, Petitioner, v. FLORIDA COMMISSION ON OFFENDER REVIEW and Florida Department of Corrections, Respondents.

Jody Crum, pro se, Petitioner. Rana Wallace, General Counsel, and Mark Hiers, Deputy General Counsel, Tallahassee, for Respondent Florida Commission on Offender Review. Ashley Moody, Attorney General, Tallahassee, for Respondent Florida Department of Corrections.

Petition for Belated Appeal—Original Jurisdiction.

Jody Crum, pro se, Petitioner.

Rana Wallace, General Counsel, and Mark Hiers, Deputy General Counsel, Tallahassee, for Respondent Florida Commission on Offender Review.

Ashley Moody, Attorney General, Tallahassee, for Respondent Florida Department of Corrections.

Per Curiam.

Because the petitioner seeks a belated appeal from a trial court order rendered in a civil matter, the court dismisses the petition. See Fla. R. App. P. 9.141 (authorizing a petition for belated appeal only with regard to "review proceedings in collateral or postconviction criminal cases").

B.L. Thomas, Ray, and Tanenbaum, JJ., concur.
