Before this Court is Appellant's attorney's June 24, 2024 motion to withdraw as counsel on appeal and abate for appointment of substitute counsel. We GRANT Appellant's attorney's motion, and we ABATE this case to the trial court to determine whether appellant is indigent. If the trial court determines that appellant is indigent, we ORDER the trial court to appoint counsel for appellant within TEN DAYS of the date of this order. If the trial court determines that appellant is not indigent, we ORDER the trial court to file a supplemental record with this Court within TEN DAYS of this order indicating that appellant is not indigent. The appeal will be reinstated after the trial court transmits to this Court either an order appointing new counsel for appellant, a supplemental record stating appellant is not indigent, or at such other time as the Court deems proper.

We DIRECT the Clerk of the Court to send copies of this order to the Honorable Raquel Jones, 203rd Judicial District Court, Felicia Pitre, Dallas County District Clerk Christina O'Neil, Chief Judicial Staff Counsel Criminal District Courts, and counsel for all parties.
