MICHAEL CHARLES COZMA, Appellant v. BRITTANY NISHAY BROWN, Appellee

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 1 Galveston County, Texas
Trial Court Case No. 16-FD-0614

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Appellant, Michael Charles Cozma, has failed to timely file a brief. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(a) (governing time to file brief), 38.8(a) (governing failure of appellant to file brief). Appellee, Brittany Nishay Brown, has filed a motion, based on appellant's failure to timely file a brief, requesting that we dismiss this appeal. Appellant has not responded to appellee's motion to dismiss the appeal. On June 5, 2017, we notified appellant that this appeal was subject to dismissal for failing to file a brief and requiring that a brief be filed within ten days of our notice and that no extensions would be granted. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.3(b). Appellant did not adequately respond.

Accordingly, we grant appellee's motion and dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. We dismiss all other pending motions as moot.

PER CURIAM Panel consists of Chief Justice Radack and Justices Keyes and Massengale.
