    In Lane v. B J Theatres, Inc., 314 Mich. 666, the plaintiff also sued the defendant theater company for damages for personal injury resulting from negligence in maintaining a theater (failure to adequately light an aisle).

    In affirming the case, Justice STARR, speaking for the court, cited and discussed many of the prior decisions in this State and the principles of law applicable and controlling in a situation such as is presented in the case at bar. See, also, Levy v. Israelite House of David, 216 Mich. 373; Cox v. Detroit United Theatres Corp., 306 Mich. 479. In the case of Crowley v. Bugg, 292 Ill. App. 210 (10 N.E. [2d] 678), the factual situation was very similar to that presented in the case at bar.
