JUSTIN COX, Appellant v. BRYAN COOPER, Appellee

On Appeal from the 133rd District Court Harris County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 2022-62317

Panel Consists of Justices Jewell, Zimmerer, and Hassan.

ORDER

PER CURIAM

Appellant, proceeding pro se, has filed a motion for leave to file documents filed in the trial court under seal in this court or, alternatively, to file previously public redacted versions.

Appellant elected to file an appendix in lieu of clerk's record in this appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 34.5a. Appellant's appendix contains an order permanently sealing documents titled" Exhibits Nos. 16- 27 and 35 to Plaintiff's 'Response to Defendant's First Amended Motion for Summary Judgment with Motion to Strike Both Defendant's Fourth Amended Answer and Defendant's First Amended Motion for Summary Judgment." See Tex. R. Civ. P. 76a. Accordingly, we grant the portion of appellant's motion requesting leave to file the previously sealed documents under seal in this court in the form of a sealed supplemental appendix in lieu of a clerk's record to be filed within 10 days from the date of this order. The clerk of this court is ordered to accept and file under seal the aforementioned sealed supplemental appendix in lieu of a clerk's record.

It is further ordered that this court, our staff, counsel, and appellant, proceeding pro se, are allowed access to the sealed appendix. All other relief requested in appellant's motion is denied.
