ORDER
Bexar-Medina-Atascosa Counties Water Control & Improvement District No. 1 (hereinafter, "Bexar-Medina-Atascosa") appellant's brief is due no later than December 29, 2016. On December 9, 2016, Bexar-Medina-Atascosa and appellee, Bandera County River Authority & Groundwater District (hereinafter, "Bandera County"), filed an unopposed joint motion asking that the deadline for both parties to file their appellant's brief be extended to February 27, 2017. The request by Bexar-Medina-Atascosa to file its opening appellant's brief by February 27, 2017 is GRANTED, but the request that both parties file opening appellant's briefs by that date is DENIED. The following briefing schedule is hereby ordered.
Bexar-Medina-Atascosa is hereby ORDERED to file its opening appellant's brief no later than February 27, 2017, and that brief is subject to a 15,000-word limit. See TEX. R. APP. P. 9.4(i)(1), (2)(B); TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(a).
Bandera County's combined appellee/cross-appellant's brief is due thirty days from the filing of Bexar-Medina-Atascosa's opening appellant's brief, and is subject to a combined word limit of 30,000. See TEX. R. APP. P. 9.4(i)(1), (2)(B)-(C); TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(a).
Bexar-Medina-Atascosa's combined appellant/cross-appellee's reply brief is due twenty days from the filing of Bandera County's combined appellee/cross-appellant's brief, and is subject to a 22,500-word limit. See TEX. R. APP. P. 9.4(i)(1), (2)(B)-(C); TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(b).
Bandera County's cross-appellant's reply brief is due twenty days from the filing of Bexar-Medina-Atascosa's combined appellant/cross-appellee's brief, and is subject to a 7,500-word limit. See TEX. R. APP. P. 9.4(i)(1), (2)(C); TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(b).
