We GRANT Appellant's Motion for Supplemental Briefing in part. We ORDER Appellant to file its supplemental brief, if any, not to exceed 5,000 words, on or before March 25, 2024. We ORDER the State to file its responsive brief, if any, not to exceed 5,000 words, within 20 days of the filing of Appellant's supplemental brief. We ORDER that the briefing be limited to a discussion of the costs assessed and (1) whether a statute in effect at the time of judgment entirely exempted the State from paying same and, if so, whether a statute in effect at the time of judgment nevertheless required a civil defendant to pay same if the State prevailed, and (2) whether appellant was improperly assessed a duplicate fee. We otherwise DENY appellant's Motion for Supplemental Briefing.
