COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, Respondent v. MICHAEL JONES, Petitioner

Petition for Allowance of Appeal from the Order of the Superior Court

ORDER

PER CURIAM

AND NOW, this 26th day of October, 2021, the Petition for Allowance of Appeal is GRANTED. The issue, as stated by petitioner, is:

Did the lower court err by allowing a non-testifying co-defendant's confession to be introduced by the prosecutor at a joint trial where the confession: i) explicitly and unambiguously referenced [Petitioner] as a participant in a shooting; and ii) blatantly linked [Petitioner] as a participant in a shooting--all in violation of [Petitioner's] U.S. Sixth Amendment right of confrontation pursuant to Bruton v. United States and Pennsylvania Article I § 9 right to confrontation?
