The case is remanded to the Superior Court for further proceedings on the motion to suppress, by the judge who heard the motion, consistent with this memorandum and order; upon reconsideration of the motion the judge may take any additional evidence he may deem appropriate and make such further findings as are necessary to determine whether the VIN was visible from the defendant's driveway and whether the officers saw the VIN as a result of their search of the defendant's garage.
