COMMONWEALTH v. Bruce BELMER.

In short, the evidence, as in Montanez, was presented to the judge with the understanding that he would rule on its admissibility afterwards. And, as we indicated above, there is no reason to think the judge did not engage in that process and apply the law correctly.
