Upon consideration of Petitioner Combustion Engineering, Inc.'s petitions for a writ of mandamus directed to the Honorable Eden Elizabeth Hifo, which were consolidated for disposition, the papers in support, and the records and files herein,

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:

1. Pursuant to HRAP Rule 21(c), the respondents shall file an answer or answers within forty days from the date of this order.

2. Pursuant to HRAP Rule 21(c), the respondent judge may elect not to appear.

3. Petitioner may file a supplemental memorandum or other supplemental material within the time provided.
