Criminal Law — Sentence — Parole — Commission of crime while on parole — Sentence to another institution — Service of both new sentence and remaining portion of old sentence.
In a habeas corpus proceeding, in which it appeared that relator, while still on parole under a sentence previously imposed, committed another crime and received a second sentence (to a place of confinement other than that from which he had been released on parole); and that he was paroled from the second sentence, having served the minimum term thereof, but was required to serve the remaining portion of his original sentence; it was Held that the order of the court below dismissing the petition should be affirmed.
