COLUMBIA COUNTY v. WILLIAM SATCHER et al.

The Supreme Court today granted the writ of certiorari in this case as Case No. S24G0340 .

This case will be assigned to the June oral argument calendar automatically under Supreme Court Rule 50 (1) (a). Oral argument is mandatory in granted certiorari cases.

This Court is particularly concerned with the following issue or issues:

Did sovereign immunity bar the injunctive relief granted to the property owners in this case? See Dept. of Transp. v. Mixon, 312 Ga. 548 (864 S.E.2d 67) (2021).
