RENODE COLLINS v. LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND CORRECTIONS, ET AL

In Re: Renode Collins, applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. C617150.

BEFORE: PAKRO, McDONALD AND CRAIN, JJ.

WRIT GRANTED WITH ORDER. According to the record of the Clerk of Court for East Baton Rouge Parish, the district court has not acted on the February 25, 2014 Rule to Show Cause, in which the commissioner ordered relator to show cause in writing within 30 days why relator's November 20, 2012 pleading, titled "Application for Writ of Mandamus," should not be dismissed for failure to state a cause of action upon which relief may be granted. Accordingly, the district court is instructed to act on the Rule to Show Cause, if it has not already done so.
