From the 175th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas

Trial Court No. 2008CR0917

Honorable Mary D. Roman, Judge Presiding

ORDER

On June 26, 2013, this court issued an opinion affirming the trial court's judgment of conviction for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. On September 5, 2013, Appellant filed a pro se motion for a free copy of the appellate record to help him "prepare and file a Discretionary Review with the Court of Appeals." He provided supporting information to show he is indigent.

Appellant's motion for copies of the appellate record is DENIED. See Ex parte Trainer, 181 S.W.3d 358, 359 (Tex. Crim. App. 2005) ("We hold that nothing in the United States Constitution, the Texas Constitution, or any statute or rule requires the convicting county to provide a free copy of the trial record to an appellant for purposes of filing a pro se petition [for] discretionary review.").
