Summary
In Cochenour we upheld a verdict for plaintiff for the wrongful death of a four-month-old infant, which resulted from the failure of the landlord to heat the apartment in which the child lived, as required by the Sanitary Code, notwithstanding the landlord's arguments that it was the weather and the condition of health of the infant rather than his failure to heat which was the proximate cause of the child's death.
