Cloud v. Webb

United States District Court, N.D. Texas, Wichita Falls Division
Sep 26, 2001
7:99-CV-207-R (N.D. Tex. Sep. 26, 2001)

Opinion

7:99-CV-207-R.

September 26, 2001.

ORDER

ON THIS DATE, came on to be considered Plaintiff John Cloud's motion for leave to include exhibits related to his motion to amend the complaint, filed on October 10, 2000, and the Court finds and orders as follows:

Plaintiff seeks to include exhibits related to his motion to amend the complaint. However, his motion to amend the complaint was previously denied. Cloud seeks to add several new Defendants and a new claim in which he presents allegations of retaliation against him by guards at the Beto Unit of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Tennessee Colony, Texas. Because this claim is wholly unrelated to the original complaint the motion will be denied. If Cloud wishes to litigate new and independent claims against new Defendants, he may do so by filing a new lawsuit.

IT IS ORDERED that Plaintiffs' motion is hereby DENIED.

A copy of this order shall be transmitted to Plaintiffs.

SO ORDERED.
