On June 1, 2021, a petition was filed, at docket No. 19316-21, challenging the notice of deficiency dated March 4, 2021, issued to petitioners for tax year 2017. On June 2, 2021, a second petition was filed, at docket No. 9588-21, challenging the same deficiency notice issued to petitioners for 2017.

On September 15, 2021, a Motion To Close on Ground of Duplication, at docket No. 19316-21, was filed seeking to close that case as duplicative of the case at docket No. 9588-21. In his motion to close respondent states that petitioners do not object to the granting of the motion. Upon due consideration, it is

ORDERED that respondent's Motion To Close on Ground of Duplication filed at docket No. 19316-21 on September 15, 2021, is granted and that case is closed as duplicative of the case at docket No. 9588-21.
