DECISION AND ORDER ON MOTION

Motions by the New York State Fire Fighters Association, I.A.F.F., AFL-CIO, Local 32 International Association of Fire Fighters A.F.L.-C.I.O.-C.L.C., Utica Professional Fire Fighters Association and Uniformed EMTs, Paramedics and Inspectors-F.D.N.Y., Local 2507, DC 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO for permission to file briefs amici curiae upon the appeal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and the papers filed in response and in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motions are granted, without costs. The New York State Fire Fighters Association, I.A.F.F., AFL-CIO and Local 32 International Association of Fire Fighters A.F.L.-C.I.O.-C.L.C., Utica Professional Fire Fighters Association shall file and serve by overnight mail their amici curiae briefs on or before October 14, 2011. The Clerk of the Court is directed to file the amicus curiae brief received on September 27, 2011 from the Uniformed EMTs, Paramedics and Inspectors- F.D.N.Y., Local 2507, DC 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO.
