CITY OF LENEXA, Appellee, v. Mark M. MILLSTEAD, Appellant.


As the result of our finding, our Kansas policy against piecemeal appeals, see, e.g., In re Adoption of Baby Girl P., 291 Kan. 424, 429, 242 P.3d 1168 (2010), the rule that no appeal may be taken until judgment is final, see K.S.A. 22–3601 and K.S.A. 22–3608, we hold the district court did not, nor do we, have jurisdiction over this matter. We order it returned to the district court with instructions to remand the case to the Lenexa Municipal Court for further proceedings to resolve the restitution issue and render a final judgment.
