CITY OF LANCASTER, TEXAS, Appellant v. DAVID LAFLORE, ET AL., Appellees

On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 1 Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. CC-16-04888-A

ORDER

Before the Court is appellees' February 23, 2018 motion seeking an extension of time until March 9, 2018 to file a brief. In their motion, appellees mistakenly state that their brief was due on February 23, 2018. This is an accelerated appeal. Appellant filed its brief on January 24, 2018. Accordingly, appellees' brief was due February 13, 2018, twenty days after the date appellant's brief was filed. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(b).

We GRANT appellees' motion and extend the time March 9, 2018. We caution appellees that further requests for extension in this accelerated appeal will be disfavored.
