City of Austin, Appellant v. National Media Corporation and ACME Partnership, L.P., Appellees

FROM THE DISTRICT COURT OF TRAVIS COUNTY, 345TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT
NO. D-1-GN-10-003997, HONORABLE AMY CLARK MEACHUM, JUDGE PRESIDINGMEMORANDUM OPINION

PER CURIAM

Previously, on the parties' motion, we abated this appeal in order to allow the parties to proceed to trial, which was then set in April, 2016, because some of the issues in the appeal may be rendered moot by the results of the upcoming trial. Counsel for the parties have filed a joint status report informing the Court that the trial has been reset to May 23, and requesting that we extend the abatement period.

We will abate the appeal until June 15. The parties are instructed to file either a status report or a motion to dismiss the appeal on or before June 15. Appellate deadlines are tolled during the pendency of the abatement. Before Justices Puryear, Goodwin, and Field Abated Filed: May 12, 2016
