Failure of consideration for a contract may result as a consequence of failure of one party to perform his obligations under the agreement. Citizens National Bank v. Appellant contends that the Meyers failed to transfer title to lot 13 to Austin Lake Estates, resulting in an effectual defense to the action brought by the Meyers. Food Machinery Corp. v.
