Fraud and Duress — Deed of Settlement

In a suit to set aside a conveyance made by plaintiff, of property standing in her name, to a third person, who in turn conveyed to plaintiff and her husband, since deceased, for their lives, held that the evidence failed to show that plaintiff executed the conveyance by reason of misrepresentation and duress on the part of the husband.

Decided November 20th, 1934.

Appeal from the Circuit Court of Baltimore City (DENNIS, C.J.).

Bill by Congietta P. Ciociola against J. Henry Baker and Charles E. Orth, Trustees, and Salvatore Ciociola, Jr. From a decree dismissing the bill, plaintiff appeals. Affirmed.

The cause was argued before BOND, C.J., PATTISON, URNER, ADKINS, OFFUTT, PARKE, and SLOAN, JJ.
