Lonnie C. Chesser Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Patrick J. Urda Judge

This case was stricken from the Court's March 15, 2021, Denver, Colorado remote trial session, and jurisdiction was retained by the undersigned.

The Court previously remanded this case to the IRS' Independent Office of Appeals for a supplemental hearing and ordered that a status report be filed to apprise the Court of the status of this case. On June 17, 2021, the parties filed a joint status report indicating that the settlement officer was awaiting formal approval to re-open the offer in compromise, which would allow him to accept the collection alternative agreed by the parties. The parties request an additional 90 days to provide a status report to the Court. We will grant the relief. Accordingly, it is

ORDERED that, on or before September 21, 2021, the parties shall file a joint status report apprising the Court of the then-present status of this case.
