ORDER
The reporter's records are pending filing in five unrelated appeals. Ms. Leticia Escamilla is the court reporter responsible for filing all or a portion of the reporter's record in each appeal. Ms. Escamilla has filed notifications of late record in most of the appeals noting she is prohibited from working on the records in the appeals under the terms and conditions of a contempt judgment entered by this court on June 11, 2019, in appeal number 04-19-00078-CV.
On September 16, 2019, a status hearing was held relating to the terms of the contempt judgment. Under the terms of the agreed orders dictated into the record at the conclusion of the hearing, Ms. Escamilla is ordered to file the remaining three volumes of the reporter's record outstanding in appeal number 04-18-00411-CV by October 7, 2019. At the status hearing, Ms. Escamilla represented that the reporter's records pending in the five appeals were recorded on new equipment; therefore, the reporter's records will not require as much time to file.
On September 25, 2019, appeal number 04-19-00078-CV was dismissed; therefore, no additional reporter's records are required to be filed in that appeal.
It is therefore ORDERED that Ms. Escamilla shall complete the reporter's records in the five pending appeals pursuant to the orders that will be issued by this court. This court's orders will require the reporter's records to be filed in the order they were originally due to be filed in each appeal as follows: 1. No. 04-19-00403-CV - The Texas Brandon Corp. v. EOG Resources, Inc. - July 15, 2019 2. No. 04-19-00357-CR - Idrogo v. State - July 22, 2019 3. No. 04-19-00543-CV - Prado v. Lonestar Resources, Inc. - August 12, 2019 4. No. 04-19-00534-CV - EP Energy Co. v. Storey Minerals, Ltd. - August 19, 2019 5. No. 04-19-00503-CV - Chesapeake Expl., L.L.C.. v. 7K Investments, Ltd. - August 23, 2019 Ms. Escamilla is ORDERED to work exclusively on the reporter's records in the five appeals until the reporter's records in all five appeals have been filed. This order does not preclude Ms. Escamilla from hiring other court reporters, scopists, or others to assist her in completing the pending reporter's records in a more timely manner.
In the notifications of late record filed by Ms. Escamilla in appeal number 04-19-00403-CV, she estimated the length of the record to be approximately fifty to seventy-five pages. Ms. Escamilla is ORDERED to file the reporter's record in appeal number 04-19-00403-CV no later than three days after the complete reporter's record is filed in appeal number 04-18-00411-CV.
In the notifications of late record filed by Ms. Escamilla in appeal number 04-19-00357-CR, she estimated the length of the record to be approximately one hundred pages. Ms. Escamilla is ORDERED to file the reporter's record in appeal number 04-19-00357-CR no later than one week after the complete reporter's record is filed in appeal number 04-19-00403-CV.
