ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeal by William T. C. from an order of the Family Court, Nassau County, dated December 19, 2011.

On the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be entered dismissing the appeal on the ground that the order dated December 19, 2011, is not appealable as of right (see Family Ct Act § 1112, 439[e]), and leave to appeal has not been granted, by filing an affidavit or affirmation on that issue with the Clerk of this Court on or before March 9, 2012; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or her designee, shall serve a copy of this order to show cause on the parties or their attorneys by regular mail.
