Chance v. State

Supreme Court of Florida.
Jan 5, 2015
160 So. 3d 893 (Fla. 2015)

Opinion

No. SC15–11.

01-05-2015

Billy Ray CHANCE, Petitioner(s) v. STATE of Florida, Respondent(s).

Opinion

The petition seeking belated discretionary review is hereby dismissed for lack of jurisdiction, as this Court would not have had jurisdiction even if petitioner had filed a timely notice to invoke this Court's discretionary review of the district court decision at issue. See Stallworth v. Moore, 827 So.2d 974 (Fla.2002) ; Wells v. State, 132 So.3d 1110 (Fla.2014). No motion for rehearing or reinstatement will be entertained by the Court.
