ORDER
PER CURIAM Plaintiff, a former student of the Fort Zumwalt School District ("District"), appeals from the grant of summary judgment for employees of the District ("Defendants") on Plaintiff’s petition for negligence. On appeal, Plaintiff argues the trial court erred in granting summary judgment for Defendants because Defendants failed to properly plead the affirmative defense of official immunity at the summary judgment stage by failing to address the ministerial duty exception. Plaintiff also claims the trial court prematurely granted summary judgment for Defendants because discovery was not complete, the circuit court refused additional facts relevant to summary judgment, and Defendants failed to allege the ministerial duty exception did not apply.
We have reviewed the briefs of the parties, the legal file, and the record on appeal and find the claims of error to be without merit. An extended opinion reciting the detailed facts and restating the principles of law would have no precedential value. We affirm the judgment pursuant to Rule 84.16(b). The parties have been furnished with a memorandum for their information only, setting forth the reasons for the order affirming the judgment pursuant to Rule 84.16(b).
All rule references are to Missouri Supreme Court Rules (2018).
