The plaintiff's petition for certification for appeal from the Appellate Court, 154 Conn.App. 1, 105 A.3d 265 (2014), is granted, limited to the following issue:

“Did the Appellate Court properly conclude that the doctrine of apparent authority does not apply to actions sounding in tort?”

EVELEIGH, J., did not participate in the consideration of or decision on this petition.
