The trial court imposed or suspended sentence on March 26, 2022. Because appellant did not file a motion for new trial, the notice of appeal was due to be filed on April 25, 2022. Tex.R.App.P. 26.2(a)(1). A motion for extension of time to file the notice of appeal was due on May 10, 2022. Tex.R.App.P. 26.3. Appellant did not file a motion for extension of time, and he filed his notice of appeal on May 18, 2022. On May 31, 2022, we ordered appellant to show cause why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.

On June 1, 2022, appellant filed a response attached to which is documentation showing he filed a notice of appeal with the district clerk on April 20, 2022. On June 3, 2022, the district attorney's office filed a letter agreeing that appellant filed and served a copy of his notice of appeal on April 20, 2022. Because appellant has shown sufficient cause to not dismiss this appeal for lack of jurisdiction, we reinstate this appeal on the court's docket.

The court reporter is ORDERED to file the reporter's record no later than July 11, 2022.
