ERICKA GAIL CASTILLO, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent
ORDER
Albert G. Lauber Judge
This case was set for trial on the Court's March 6, 2023, Houston, Texas, trial session. When the case was called from the calendar, petitioner and counsel for respondent appeared and requested time to discuss possible resolution of the case. When the case was recalled at 1:00 p.m. the same day, the parties indicated that they had made progress but needed additional time to review documents. Respondent orally requested a continuance, which we will grant. The Court understands that petitioner will supply additional documents to respondent by March 15, 2023, after which the parties will meet to discuss a possible resolution of the case. Upon due consideration, and for cause more fully appearing in the transcript of the proceeding, it is
ORDERED that respondent's request for a continuance is granted, the case is continued, and jurisdiction is retained by the undersigned. It is further
ORDERED that the parties shall file with the Court, on or before March 15, 2023, a status report (jointly if possible, otherwise separately) detailing the then-present status of the case, including petitioner's progress in supplying the requested documents to respondent. It is further
ORDERED that the parties shall file, on or before April 15, 2023, a joint status report informing the Court of the then-present status of the case, including their progress towards final resolution.
