Before the Court is the motion for extension of time to file appellant's brief, filed by appellant's counsel, Ronald Goranson. Mr. Goranson is requesting an extension until February 3, 2025, two weeks after the appellant's brief is due on January 21, 2025 in Mitchell v. State, No. 05-24-00306-CR. We GRANT the motion, and we ORDER Mr. Goranson to file appellant's brief in this appeal by FEBRUARY 3, 2025. Absent further order from this Court, Mr. Goranson's failure to timely file the brief in Mitchell v. State will not affect the date appellant's brief is due in this appeal.
