Carraway v. State

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Fourth District
May 30, 1975
313 So. 2d 58 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1975)

Opinion

No. 73-1245.

May 30, 1975.

Appeal from Circuit Court, Brevard County; Robert B. McGregor, Judge.

Richard L. Jorandby, Public Defender, and Bruce Zeidel, Asst. Public Defender, West Palm Beach, for appellant.

Robert L. Shevin, Atty. Gen., Tallahassee, and C. Marie Bernard, Asst. Atty. Gen., West Palm Beach, for appellee.

The record presents sufficient factual basis for appellant's guilty plea. The trial court properly accepted the guilty plea in spite of appellant's denial of guilt, North Carolina v. Alford, 400 U.S. 25, 91 S.Ct. 160, 27 L.Ed.2d 162 (1970). Affirmed.

OWEN, C.J., and WALDEN and DOWNEY, JJ., concur.
