WRIT GRANTED WITH ORDER. STAY DENIED. REQUEST FOR EXPEDITED HEARING DENIED. The district court's contempt judgment is a final, appealable judgment, on which an appeal can be sought within the time delays set out in La. C.C.P. art. 2087. The Louisiana Supreme Court has ruled in this case that the judgment imposing sanctions for contempt is appealable. See Capital City Press, LLC d/b/a The Advocate and Koran Addo vs. Louisiana State University System Board of Supervisors and Hank Danos, Chairman c/w The Times-Picayune LLC, and Quincy Hodges vs. Louisiana State University System Board of Supervisors and Hank Danos, Chairman, 13-1994 (La. 8/28/13), ___ So.3d ___.
We remand the case to the district court with instruction to grant Louisiana State University System Board of Supervisors and Hank Danos, Chairman, a suspensive appeal of the August 14, 2013 ruling and August 21, 2013, judgment, pursuant to the August 19, 2013, order granting their application to seek writs. See In Re Howard, 541 So.2d 195 (La. 1989). Louisiana State University System Board of Supervisors and Hank Danos, Chairman, are to submit an order for appeal to the district court by October 14, 2013. Additionally, a copy of this Court's order is to be included in the appellate record.
