CAO DAI TAY NINH TEMPLES OF TEXAS, ET AL., Appellants v. TAM THANH NGUYEN, ET AL., Appellees
On Appeal from the 298th Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. DC-19-08591
ORDER
ROBERT D. BURNS, III CHIEF JUSTICE
Before the Court is appellants' October 10, 2024 unopposed second motion for an extension of time to file their opening brief. Because the clerk's record is not yet complete, we DENY the motion as premature.
On October 10, 2024, appellants filed a letter in the trial court requesting a supplemental clerk's with eight additional documents. One of those documents is Plaintiffs' Response to Motion for New Trial and Special Appearance. Attached to the letter is verification that the document was submitted for e-filing on May 2, 2024. On the Court's own motion, we ORDER Dallas County District Clerk Felicia Pitre to file, no later than October 18, 2024, a supplemental clerk's clerk with the requested eight documents.
Appellants' opening brief will be due within thirty days after the date the supplemental clerk's record is filed.
We DIRECT the Clerk of this Court to send a copy of this order to Ms. Pitre and all parties.
