On May 21, 2024, the court reporter filed the reporter's record of the January 18, 2024 punishment hearing. On July 16, 2024, we ordered the court reporter to file the reporter's record of the October 10, 2023 plea hearing or a written statement that the hearing was not recorded. On July 22, 2024, the court reporter filed a written statement with this Court that "[t]here was no reporter in the courtroom reporting the proceedings; therefore, there is not a record of the proceedings," and that no other court reporter reported the proceedings.

The appellate record is complete. Appellant's brief is due AUGUST 22, 2024. Appellant's July 22, 2024 motion for extension of time to file the brief is DENIED as moot.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to Angelica Taylor, Official Court Reporter, 432nd District Court; and counsel for all parties.
