MICHAEL BRADLEY BURTON, Petitioner, v. TOM GREEN, Warden, Respondent.

ORDER

Micheal Bradley Burton has filed a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus along with his sentence calculation, indicating that he is due at least 105 days of credit for time served for his recent sentence upon revocation of nine years and 259 days from the Glacier County District Court. Burton also raises several other claims where habeas corpus may not be the appropriate remedy. See Burton v. Seifert, No. OP 22-0285, Order (Mont. Aug. 16, 2022). Upon review, we deem it appropriate to require a response to Burton's Petition. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED that the Attorney General or counsel for the Department of Correction is GRANTED thirty days from the date of this Order in which to prepare, file, and serve a written response to the petition for a writ of habeas corpus together with appropriate documentary exhibits.

The Clerk of the Supreme Court is directed to provide a copy of this Order to the Attorney General; to counsel for the Department of Corrections; and to Petitioner personally.
