This case is calendared for a remote trial at the session of the Court scheduled to commence on October 11, 2022, for cases in which Salt Lake City, Utah, is listed as the place of trial.
On October 14, 2021, the petition commencing this case was timely filed in response to the notice of deficiency dated July 19, 2021, issued to petitioner. That petition does not bear the original signature of petitioner, or the original signature of a practitioner admitted to practice before the Tax Court, as required by the Tax Court Rules of Practice and Procedure.
Accordingly, it is
ORDERED that, on or before August 19, 2022, petitioner shall file a ratification of petition bearing petitioner's signature. Shall petitioner electronically file the ratification of petition, petitioner should note that either an actual signature on a PDF or a signature using an authentication program (e.g. Adobe of DocuSign) is acceptable. Any stylized signature (e.g., signing with "/s" or using cursive font) is not acceptable. It is further
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court, shall attach to the copy of this order served on petitioner, a form that petitioner shall use to comply therewith.
