MEMORANDUM OPINION

On February 21, 2006, Basil Brown filed his notice of appeal. Three days later, we notified appellant that the $125 filing fee was due and gave him ten days to pay the fee. When appellant did not pay the fee by April 24, 2006, we again notified him that the $125 filing fee was due and instructed him to pay the fee within ten days. We cautioned appellant that if he did not comply with the Court's instructions, the appeal would be dismissed.

Nevertheless, appellant has not paid the filing fee or otherwise communicated with this Court regarding this appeal. Accordingly, on the Court's own motion, we DISMISS the appeal. See Appendix to the Tex.R.App.P. B(1)(a); Tex.R.App.P. 5, 42.3.
