ORDER

Defendants Andrew Stroud and Stroud Productions Enterprises, Inc move to dismiss this action for lack of personal jurisdiction under FRCP 12(b)(2). Doc #5. Plaintiff Steven Brown argues that there are several forum related activities not alleged in the complaint sufficient to establish specific jurisdiction. Doc #17. Because plaintiff's single claim for declaratory judgment does not arise out of or relate to the defendant's forum related activities, plaintiff has not met his burden of establishing specific jurisdiction. See Menken v Emm, 503 F3d 1050, 1056-58 (9th Cir 2007). Accordingly, defendants' motion to dismiss is GRANTED. Plaintiff may file an amended complaint on or before October 9.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
