Opinion

No. 1D20-2949

11-25-2020

Antwan J. BROWN, Appellant, v. STATE of Florida, Appellee.

Antwan J. Brown, pro se, Appellant. Ashley Moody, Attorney General, Tallahassee, for Appellee.

Antwan J. Brown, pro se, Appellant.

Ashley Moody, Attorney General, Tallahassee, for Appellee.

Per Curiam.

The trial court rendered its final order denying Mr. Brown's postconviction motion on August 18, 2020. Mr. Brown handed his notice of appeal of that order over to prison officials for filing on October 5, 2020, more than thirty days after rendition. The appeal is untimely, and we dismiss for lack of jurisdiction. See Fla. R. App. P. 9.110(b) ; Fla. R. App. P. 9.141(b)(1).

B.L. Thomas, Makar, and Tanenbaum, JJ., concur.
