TONNIEL MARQUIS BROWN, Appellant v. THE STATE OF TEXAS, Appellee

On Appeal from the 291st Judicial District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. F18-11801-U

ORDER

The reporter's record was initially due December 28, 2019. We notified court reporter Sasha Brooks by postcard dated January 2, 2020 and directed her to file the reporter's record by February 1, 2020. Thereafter, Ms. Brooks filed three requests for extensions, each of which we granted, making the reporter's record due May 15, 2020. To date, the reporter's record has not been filed and we have had no further correspondence from Ms. Brooks.

We ORDER the complete reporter's record filed within FOURTEEN DAYS of the date of this order. We caution court reporter Sasha Brooks that the failure to file the reporter's record by that date will result in the Court taking whatever action it deems appropriate to ensure that this appeal proceeds in a more timely fashion, which may include ordering that she not sit as a court reporter until the record in this appeal is filed.

We DIRECT the Clerk to send copies of this order to the Honorable Stephanie Huff, Presiding Judge, 291st Judicial District Court; Sasha Brooks, official court reporter, 291st Judicial District Court; and to counsel for all parties.

/s/ BILL PEDERSEN, III
